A mysterious company creates an Artificial Intelligence designated PRUNR, (Permanently Remove Unnecessary Nodes and Routines). PRUNR's main objective is simple: to remove unnecessary files from a digital environment. PRUNR is trained in a digital simulation, given a digital body and a digital weapon to visualise its objective in the simplest way imaginable. Except there's one flaw. In a world where everything's fake, nothing is really necessary, is it?
